ELLIS L SCHMIDLAPP Ellis has directed all of the firm's projects since its incorporation in 1978. Prior to establishing LDA, Mr. Schmidlapp served for nearly a decade as Director of Historic Buildings Development for Pittsburgh History and Landmarks Foundation.

THOMAS S STEVENSON, JR, RA Tom has been with LDA since its founding and became a principal in 1999. He previously worked with the City of Pittsburgh Bicentennial Commission and two other architectural firms, including The Architects Collaborative in Cambridge, Mass.

WILLIAM R HASHINGER, RA Bill has been with LDA since 1983 and an associate since 1986. He became a Principal in 1999.
